EV Suitability Report

What is the purpose of the EV Suitability Report?

The EV Suitability report will show you how many days each vehicle from your fleet was driven in within different distance ranges. This data will help you to identify the vehicles most suitable for replacement by electric vehicles. The EV Suitability Report is intended to assist you with the transition to electric vehicles.

To access this report you should go to the Navigation Menu > Fuel/Electric Vehicles > EV Suitability.

Below is an example of the EV Suitability report. 

Based on the time period selected the report will show the number of the days a vehicle has driven within each distance range.

The vehicles in the report will be sorted by daily distance travelled during the selected time period. This distance appears in 'Max Daily Travel Distance' column. The vehicles are sorted starting from the lowest daily distance to the highest daily distance.

The last column, 'Sum of Travel Distance' , will display the sum of all the distance travelled during the selected time period for each vehicle.

The distance ranges are colour coded to help users to set limits. Vehicles which drive short distances (within the green ranges) each day can be easily replaced by electric vehicles. Vehicles which record daily distances in distance ranges indicated as red will be the least suitable. (At the end of this article we explain how you can customise the distance ranges).

Use the filter options above the report to change the date period or to select a vehicles group.

You can customise the range brackets for the EV Suitability Report. Go to Fuel/Electric Vehicles > Settings. You can change the distance within each range, change the colour to highlight each range and set a limit. Any change you make will only change the EV Suitability Report in your profile, not for other users.
