Transpoco has recently become an associate member of FTA (Freight Transport Association) Ireland. FTA Ireland is a relatively new association but is supported by the FTA in the UK which has been representing the transport industry since 1889.

Transpoco is committed to getting its customers the best possible service and pricing. It has recently become an association member of FTA Ireland which will bring a number of benefits to our transport partners. Despite the challenges that the industry is currently facing, Transpoco will continue to provide its customers with excellent service and pricing. FTA Ireland, aims to provide a forum to discuss potential problems and how they might be addressed within the industry. It also seeks to recognise and celebrate the achievements of members who are working hard on behalf of the whole transport industry. We hold high hopes for FTA Ireland becoming a meaningful contributor to the development of freight transport and logistics in this country.

Founding members include Balcas Timber, BOC Gases (Ireland), Bus Eireann, Casserly Transport, CEMEX Ireland, and many more. The FTA provides services for its members including driver training, consultancy & vehicle inspection.

FTA associate membership is the perfect alternative to FTA full memberships for small and medium-sized companies. Not only will you be able to attend FTA events and access FTA’s industry magazine, but being a part of FTA’s worldwide organisation can also help you by providing valuable research studies to help your business.

Its key objectives are to improve customer service, increase operational efficiency and standardisation of standards across the fleet. FTA also works with service providers to develop educational resources on safety and security measures.
