The data is stored on an SD card; the default size we offer is 64 GB. The camera records on a continuous loop: once the card is full, the oldest footage is erased automatically to create space for new recordings (first in, first out — FIFO), so at any given time the most recent hours of driving are always available on the camera. The looped recording time depends on the camera model:
If requested by the customer, it can be saved and available for the customer in the system for the period that the contract is active. |

Dashcams Dashcams are permanently activated whilst the vehicle ignition is on. Footage is recorded on an internal SD card. Transpoco cloud Dashcam footage is transmitted to the Transpoco cloud at five-minute intervals if configured to download automatic footage for the events. By default, the automatic footage downloading is disabled and done at customer's request. Downloaded footage Footage is downloaded from the Transpoco cloud by relevant personnel for relevant purposes. This can be kept on a variety of mediums. Note: The SD card will always hold the raw, unblurred recording. |

Users enter their name and email to the system. The system sends a welcome email (via Postmark) asking them to set their own password. We send both data to Auth0 which generates the token for authentication. We verify this token in our database to give permission to access the system. These users are automatically created in Hubspot (our CRM) and Intercom as well in order to help with the communication. In Intercom, it happens at the first time the user logs in the platform. |
